Would highly recommend best nights sleep on my new bed ! staff very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

Popped into Enchanted house, Topsham to look at beds & mattresses. Wanted a more natural mattress and wanted to buy from a local business & Enchanted house didnt disapoint. From the moment we stepped inside we were greetd by the lovely Gary. We spoke about what we were looking for and Gary advised us to what he thought would best suit us and he was spot on. He really knows what hes talking about. He gives you time & space on your to decide and we ordered one and are looking forward to it being made and deliverd. Thank you Gary!

Great experience from start to finish, the quality of the bed frame is amazing but it is the sprung base that is transformational. After 40 years in the furniture industry I had often heard about a sprung base on higher end beds but dismissed the feature as a gimmick, how wrong I was! If you get the opportunity to have a sprung base then definitely have it, I wish I hadn’t dismissed the feature for all those years.

We bought an Enchanted Bed, had the best sleep in years, we decided to go from a King size to a Super King what a difference if you have room please go for one! One thing for sure if you buy a King or Super King please consider buying a Zipped version. At first l thought not but it’s been the Best Decision my wife & I made, as we are getting older we found turning the mattress getting harder even asking our sons to turn it for us! Buying a zipped version l am now able to turn the mattress on my own also the sleep is so much better as l do not feel my wife turning or she me as Two Independent mattress Zipped with a High Quality Zip, since buying this version l feel that everyone should consider this you will NOT Regret buying a Zipped Mattress just wonder why you never bought one before.Jeff & Heather Salter Exmouth

I love my beautiful Dartmoor Bed. It is very, very comfortable, and unique. My grand daughter loved sleeping in it when she came for a weekend. When I show visitors the bed they admire it, and that resulted in a visit to the showroom the other day.

Wake up with no aches My wife and I bought the Widdecombe mattress 2 years ago and we now wake up with no aches or pains. At the time of purchase we thought it was a lot of money but now we know it was the best investment ever. We so look forward to going to bed. We rotate the mattress every 6 months and its still like new.

So far so good. It’s important to note I have a severe ADHD type as well as ASD, in turn I also suffer with hypersomnia, insomnia and hyper mobility, I mention this because it’s important to no I struggle with decisions and I am known to become extremely overwhelmed. I’ve actually needed a new mattress for many years, I tried a Simba one about 6 years ago and after 2 nights I sent it back due to this I had no mattress and was given a second hand mattress that, even back then, was old. Over the years I’ve tried and failed to find something, I’ve driven everyone around me and myself with my bouts of hyper focus and my inability to make any decisions. I’ve travelled far and wide trying to find something comfortable. Realistically it’s not been the inability to find a comfortable mattress but more so the inability to find a retailer I’ve been comfortable with as well. The mattress could be the most comfortable in the world but if the person selling it to me doesn’t make me comfortable then in turn the mattress is tainted. Yes I know how weird it sounds. I was getting desperate and one Sunday morning sitting outside of furniture village at 10am not realising until I got there it didn’t open until 10:30 I decided to do another desperate Google search. Enchanted beds popped up, I decided I had time to waste and drove straight there, I was expecting the usual customer service I often experience when I walk in somewhere in a very hyper manic state, I’ve been described as a cross between a tornado, Taz, the Tasmanian Devil but more intense and hyper, and I really do not have a filter so when I open my mouth it’s a surprise to myself what comes out. Tim Ellis was amazing. He remained calm treated me with respect and above all didn’t make me feel like anything less than worthy of his time. He listened to my rambling he came across as honest, fair and put me straight at ease. The mattress I really liked was a little out of my price range and he didn’t sneer at me nor did he make me feel like I was wasting his time. He showed me more affordable ones. I left the shop to think and went home to collect my 10 year old mini me (in everyway) and her step sibling 16. We went back to the shop so I could get their option. Poor Tim was then subjected to the 3 of us. Again he never made us uncomfortable and took it in his stride. I paid a deposit there and then got the travistok mattress as it was the cheapest out of the two and really the only one realistically in my budget. I kept getting a niggling feeling that I wasn’t truly happy with it and emailed him asking if he could not order it yet as I wasn’t sure if it was truly the one I wanted. He was supportive and understanding. I then went back the next day with the same kids and my bestie. After she tried the ones I was unsure about she helped me decide and I chose the more expensive Dartmoor mattress. Knowing I currently do not have a mattress, I’d given my daughter mine as she needed one more (another story) he told me he would try and have it made a priority so I could hopefully get it sooner. I will, if I remember, update once I actually have the mattress and let you know my opinion on that. All in all I am extremely happy and confident with my choice to place my trust in this company due to how well I’ve been treated thus far. THANKS TIM XX

I have ordered a double sized mattress, and a king sized bed and mattress from here. The quality and comfort is brilliant and the level or service offered has been fantastic. All staff have been extremely friendly and knowledgeable and I look forward to using them again in the future should I never need another bed. Always great to also be supporting a local business.

We bought a sofa bed from Enchanted House Beds and couldn’t be happier. The sofa feels solid and comfortable for everyday use, and the mattress is genuinely impressive, supportive and comfortable, not like a cheap foam ones from the typical sofa bed companies you see.Easy to open, well made. Not cheap, but absolutely worth it for the quality.Would recommend to shop here!

Thank you to the team, who guided us through start to finish choosing our new Dartmoor mattresses (medium) .So well made,and delivered quickly and efficiently.As a life long ‘back sufferer’ I was nervous about changing our old and very overdue mattresses (better the devil etc) also because it is a big financial decision and I didn’t want to get it wrong.I didn’t need to be nervous!We are a week in, I am pain free in the mornings(first time in a long time).My advise to anyone, don’t wait for a new mattress and don’t hesitate to buy from here 👍😁

It will be the best mattress you will ever buy. We bought our widecombe mattress circa 10 years ago. Its a king size and two of us sleep in it ever night. Evertime we changed the bed linen, we always comment on how new it looks and how well it has lasted. It is totally worth the investment, because I was told years ago, two things you should buy quality, is your shoes and bed, because you spend more time standing in one and laying in the other.

We received expert advice from Tim and are now enjoying the quality and comfort of our Dartmoor mattress and beautiful functional divan and wool pillows. It’s great to support a local high quality product with excellent customer support from choosing to delivery.

We are really pleased with our new mattress and Tim’s support in choosing a suitable option. Has taken a couple days to soften up as expected and now it is a dream to sleep on! All natural materials too – we are delighted.

We highly recommend Enchanted Beds. We had our super king delivered last week and are revelling in our best sleeps for years. Tim and his staff could not have been nicer to deal with, and they all take an obvious pride in what is a genuine premium product. We had to buy a zip and link mattress owing to our narrow stairs, but with the mattress enhancer we can’t feel the difference. Would recommend buying their fitted sheet to make life easier.

It’s only when you get a proper bed that you realise what you’ve been missing out on all these years. Enchanted House beds have been an absolute joy to deal with. Five-star beds and five-star service as well. Highly recommended.
